An exciting Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 project to explore different types of sewing techniques. Each kit comes with your choice in board (either star, rectangle or mixture of both), large eye needles and thread. These reusable boards can be used over again so they are a cost effective way of teaching textiles.
Description
Each material pack comes with the following components:
- A choice of either star or rectangular boards made from laser plywood (or a mixture of both)
- Large eye needles
- Thread
Design, make and evaluation resource sheets are also provided to ensure children understand the entire design cycle. Teacher resource sheets are also included to assist in the teaching of a variety of stitches. Each sewing board can be reused year after year.
As well as the above, you will receive QR codes which, when scanned, takes you to step by step video instructions.
