Create a free standing structure and theme it around popular EYFS and KS1 topics such as fairy tales and story books. Throughout this project, children will have an opportunity to explore existing products, design their product and use tools such as sandpaper and PVA wood adhesive to make their piece.
Description
Each material pack comes with the following components:
- Gingerbread house shape made from laser plywood
- Doors and windows made from laser plywood
- 5mm dowel to make it ‘free-standing’
Children can also use a variety of embellishments to ‘finish’ their item appropriately (please note, we do not provide embellishments and paint). This material pack includes the Hepp DT ‘design portfolio’ that includes a range of resource that covers the design, make, evaluate and technical knowledge aspects of the project.
To be able to cut the dowel to the correct length, you will need junior hacksaws, bench hooks and g-clamps. If you do not have these tools in school, please select the ‘components pre-cut’ option at checkout.
Each material pack comes with sandpaper and PVA wood adhesive as standard.
