This is a class favourite! Allow your children to create their very own free standing reindeer – a perfect project that will be brought out and put on display every year! Throughout this project, children will have an opportunity to see how to create a free standing structure as well as design their product and use tools such as sandpaper and PVA wood adhesive to make their piece.
Description
Each material pack comes with the following components:
- Wooden head and body
- Dowel legs and neck
- Pipe cleaners for collar and antlers
- Bauble for nose
- Self adhesive eyes
- Sleigh bell for collar
- Birth certificate
This material pack includes the Hepp DT ‘design portfolio’ that includes a range of resource that covers the design, make, evaluate and technical knowledge aspects of the project.
To be able to cut the dowel legs to the correct length, you will need junior hacksaws, bench hooks and g-clamps. If you do not have these tools in school, please select the ‘components pre-cut’ option at checkout.
Due to the complexity of the drill holes, both the head and body will be supplied with all push fit drill holes.
Each material pack comes with sandpaper and PVA wood adhesive as standard.
