Not every child is interested in sports, dance or music. So offer your children the opportunity to get hands on at a Hepp DT After School Club instead.

Our extremely popular after school clubs run project work for either 5 or 6 weeks. In that time, children will experience the entire design cycle. Children will design their product, make their product using a variety of tools and materials and evaluate their work.

We offer After School Clubs in two formats. Either in person workshops or via ‘material kits’ for you to run the club yourselves. 

All of our in person after school clubs are run by Jess Warburton-Cheeseman. Jess has a degree in Textile Crafts from Huddersfield University as well as having multiple years experience in both school and industry setting.

Jess is DBS checked and risk assessments are in place for all activities carried out in the after school club.

Key information about Hepp DT After School Clubs:

• Our after school clubs run ‘project work’ for either 5 or 6 weeks – therefore children will need to attend every week to ensure their project is finished
• In that time, children will experience the entire design cycle, from designing their product, making their product, to testing and evaluating their work
• We ask for a minimum of 18 children for an after school club to run at your school – with a maximum class size of 25
• If you wish for us to deliver an assembly to your children about the after school club to spark interest, then that can be arranged at a mutually convenient time

Hepp DT After School Clubs are LIMITED in availability and location.

We can currently only offer after school clubs to schools within a 10 mile radius of S36 postcode.

Equally, if you would like to deliver a Design and Technology after school club in your school but don’t have the materials to do so, then please get in touch as we can provide all materials and components needed! Please visit our ‘resource shop’ to view our range of products. All of the material packs come with video instructions, materials (either pre-cut or left to cut), sandpaper and PVA wood adhesive as standard.
