Each material pack comes with the following components:
- Jelutong
- MDF base
- 5mm ball bearing
- Softwood triangle for a ‘roof’
- A4 card
This is a very popular project as it is suitable for Lower KS2 children. This project allows for complete unique designs as well as problem solving. Who will manage to escape the Minotaur’s maze?
Step by step instructions will also be provided to help ensure both teacher and child fully understand and maximise this project!
This material pack includes the Hepp DT design portfolio that covers the design, make, evaluate and technical knowledge aspects of the project. Children can also use a variety of embellishments to ‘finish’ their item appropriately (please note, we do not provide embellishments and paint).
To be able to cut the jelutong to the correct length, you will need junior hacksaws, bench hooks and g-clamps. If you do not have these tools in school, please select the ‘components pre-cut’ option at checkout.
Each material pack comes with sandpaper and PVA wood adhesive as standard.
